About AmarKarigor

AmarKarigor is a marketplace where people in Bangladesh find a repair technician in their own area, talk to them, and get the job done.

When the AC stops, the fridge will not cool, or a tap keeps dripping, most of us phone a relative for a recommendation or take a chance on a stranger. AmarKarigor wants to make that search simple and trustworthy.

Every technician has a profile in the app: skills, experience, service area, work photos, and ratings and reviews from real customers. Those who have had their identity checked with their NID and a selfie carry a “Verified” badge. Typical price ranges per category and area are shown too, computed from jobs already completed in the app.

We do not stand in the middle and take a cut. Customers and technicians chat or call directly, agree on the price, and settle payment between themselves. The app is free for both sides.

The app is launching on Android in Dhaka and Gazipur districts. More districts will follow.
